Nissan Xterra Truck Tent What Is The Purpose Of The Panic Button On My Keyless Entry For My Nissan Xterra. Is It An Alarm?

What is the purpose of the Panic button on my keyless entry for my Nissan Xterra. Is it an alarm? - nissan xterra truck tent

I bought a Nissan Xterra in 2002 and have always been the engine of the old cars with a textbook, this is the first time I ever used a keyless entry remote. There is a panic button, and when I hit the horn, until you turn them off. In addition, the truck is a red light flashes, indicating that the security word about the light. It is assumed that an alarm system. If so, how the alarm will be received. Any help would be very grateful. Thanks

  1. Welcome to the 21st Century! If your alarm system is for insurance discounts granted. Lower a window of the alarm, wait 45 seconds to reach the door from the inside and open the door and turn off the alarm while the alarm is turned on not able to start the car .. Press the buttons to lock and unlock the speaker is set as an arm and removed by pressing the two buttons again to the speaker to present his arm.

  2. This is an alarm signal. You can press to get attention when someone was attacked while trying to get into his car. It is also useful for finding your car in a crowded parking lot.

While in the same arm the alarm via the remote control, then a door.

  4. If your car nearby, for example, in a parking lot at night, and approaches that you or someone attacking you, you press the panic button that generate noise to frighten them - hopefully.

Most new vehicles are equipped with alarms and immobilzer involved when someone tries to enter and start the car without the device itself or remote door key. Turn off car engine and horn sounds to scare away thieves.

  7. To use the panic button is there if you need someone or something to scare all the noise. You can also use it to help locate your vehicle. The alarm system (safety set) is if you use the remote to lock the car. O is also working to lock or unlock the car with the key in the driver's door.
